PicShares is an AI image app. Many images on PicShares are generated or modified by artificial intelligence. This page explains how that works so you can share responsibly.
What is AI-generated
Any image produced by a “Generate” or “Edit” operation — including cartoonify, background replacement, style changes, restorations, meme-ify, and reaction faces — is created by an AI model. AI-generated results are synthetic. They may not accurately represent real people, places, or events, and can contain artifacts or mistakes.
Providers we use
To generate results we send your source image (when applicable) and prompt to third-party AI providers, which currently include Google Gemini, OpenAI, and fal.ai (FLUX). Providers are used behind a single interface and may change over time. Your content is sent to these providers only to fulfill the operation you requested.
Safety and moderation
Provider safety settings are enabled, and outputs flagged as unsafe are rejected rather than shown. Prompts are logged and associated with your account so we can enforce our Terms and investigate abuse. Content that is reported or automatically flagged enters a moderation queue for human review.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the prompts you write and how you use and share AI results. Do not use AI features to deceive, defame, or impersonate. When it matters, disclose that an image was AI-generated.
Credits and cost controls
AI operations consume credits under a per-user daily allowance and a global daily spend cap that hard-stops processing when reached. This keeps the Service sustainable and prevents runaway cost.
